Karnataka Lingayat Society was founded in 1916 by seven dedicated teachers or Saptarishis with the objective of bringing education to the North region of Karnataka. KLE Society meant for Excellent education, research, and technology. KLE Society has accomplished glorious 100 years. On the occasion of excellent 100 years in transforming lives KLE Society has established a multi-speciality KLES Centenary Charitable Hospital Yallur Road, Belagavi with 500 beds.  The demand for nursing remains unreasonable and projections suggest that such demand will substantively increase. Advances in health care technology, rising expectations of people seeking care, and reorganization of health care systems require a greater number of highly educated professionals. Nursing is the noblest and honourable profession in the health care sector focused on the care of needy by ameliorating the quality of life, with these perspectives KLE society has started with KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences.
